Let us be straight. Swydo is a solid tool. It combines Boards and Goals into a straightforward reporting and dashboard hybrid, with more than 34 integrations and an AI Reporting feature that generates report summaries for you. Its client portal, shared by link and optionally password protected, is genuinely simple to use. If goal tracking against targets is central to how you report, Swydo does that well. Clientdeck does something different: it writes a finished, branded report for each client, and the client responds and approves that report themselves. Here is where that matters.
1. A portal your client views, or a report your client approves
Swydo's client portal shares your reports and dashboards by link, with an optional password. That gets the report in front of the client. Whether the client can comment on and approve the report itself, inside Swydo, is not something we could confirm in their own documentation. What we can say clearly is this: the client responding and signing off on the report itself is where Clientdeck is built differently. They open the report on a link with no login, comment on it and approve it, and you get a written yes on record.
As of August 2026 we could not find another major client reporting tool that lets the client reply and approve on the report itself. We check monthly and will say so here if that changes.
2. Price that grows every time you add a source
Swydo starts from about US$69 a month, then charges more for every data source you connect past ten. Clientdeck's plans stay flat: NZ$49 to NZ$399 a month, no matter how many sources or clients sit behind them.
3. Goals and boards, or a finished editorial report
Swydo is built around Boards and Goals, a dashboard style view with AI generated summary text sitting on top. Clientdeck writes the whole report end to end, chosen from thirteen distinct designed layouts, ready to send without you building anything first.
